February 2019 Recap

Welcome to my delayed February Recap. Sadly the flu caught up on me and
bound me to bed for the last 9 days.

Sick ferret

But let's not get distracted and talk some poker!

This month taught me how incredible cruel streaks in Spin & Goes
can be. All February was just about damagecontrolling and learning how
destructive swings can be even on a limit where you have a huge edge on.
I am looking at it very positively, as I learned alot and for the "luck"
that it only hit me on a limit I couldnt care less about. In fact, if this
streak would've hit me on my normal limit it would've been quite a disaster
and probably would've caused alot of damage.

Pretty much all month I only played the 5$ Promo Spins, only towards the
end of the month, when I was completely demotivated to keep wasting time
in that super soft field, without any chance to move up in stakes, I
one-tabled a few 15$ Spins again.

Another very important topic to mention is, that I am now (since March)
playing on Winamax 10€ stakes. My trainingpartner is on Winamax for quite
some time already and it made perfect sense for me to move along.
I don't feel like supporting Pokerstars anymore, especially now
that they add different Promospins all the time which just toughens up
the playerpools on regular limits.

Future Plan

As I am playing on Winamax now, the ultimate plan for this year is to get
the first yearly status so I can get the highest possible Rakeback
next year.
For this month, I am trying to adjust to the new playerpool and get "Gold
Status" (2nd highest monthly status) which will give me more "miles"
(Reward Points) next month, which again makes it easier to target
"Platinum Status" (highest monthly status) in April.

  1. Boy, how can you do 20 days low carb? This is such a hell for me, utterly impossible.
Anyway, I am under the impression that you think you’re progressing which is nice and refreshing to see. Go beat the stakes at Winamax then! Gl hf!
